THE VILLA

International Academy of Italian Cuisine is located in part of an eighteenth century country villa and includes 3 quaint apartments in the areas once reserved for servants. The house still features its original structure with brick floors and ceilings with wooden beams. The furniture is of the typical Lucchese tradition. The villa combines the beauty of the old country house with modern comforts.

Located in the hills of olive groves and vineyards of the small village of Vicopelago, about 3 km from Lucca, 15 km from Pisa. Lucca is a small city, pearl of history, art and culture that still reveals the vestiges of its past, from Roman times to the Renaissance up to the age of Napoleon. Being the birthplace of Giacomo Puccini (Madama Butterfly), the music is a fundamental aspect of its cultural life. Lucca is an excellent starting point for cultural, gastronomic and leisure, being close to all the cities of Tuscany (Pisa, Florence, Siena, s. Gimignano etc.) As well as the beautiful coast of Tuscany.
