Hospitality in a beautiful historic Villa

The Villa

Italian Cuisine is located in the green Colline Lucchesi, the hills of Lucca, held in a wing of an eighteenth-century villa with its original structure intact, with terracotta floors and ceilings with exposed wooden beams. Decorated in typical Tuscan style, it combines the classic style of Lucca’s countryside with the comforts of modern living.

The Apartments

The Villa also has 3 apartments, connected to the main structure where courses are held, available to non-local students. Each apartment has a kitchen, bathroom and two double rooms, for a total of 12 places to sleep. In the area, there are also structures able to host bigger groups, as well as villas and hotels to meet any wishes of comfort or exclusivity. The apartments can also be rented independently from the cooking courses.

The School is located in the fraction of Vicopelago, among olive groves and vineyards, about 3 km from Lucca and 15 km from Pisa. Lucca is a little gem of history, art and culture that still preserves traces of its past, from the Roman age to the Renaissance and the Napoleonic age. As it was the birthplace of Giacomo Puccini (Madame Butterfly), music is a fundamental aspect of its cultural life. Lucca is an excellent starting point for cultural, culinary and leisure excursions, as it is near other Tuscan cities (Pisa, Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, etc.) as well as the Tyrrhenian coast.
